Spent last year's spring break in OBX. Amazing time with the family exploring the area. So many local attractions: Wright Brother's Memorial, Elizabethan Gardens, Pea Island Wildlife Refuge, lighthouses and great restaurants. Camp Hatteras RV Park was terrific. The ammenitites include an indoor and outdoor pool, spa, beach access, and full hook ups with concrete pads. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great spot to stay!
KOA, Quebec City:
Our family spent a fabulous vacation in Quebec City in 2009! Found a very convenient RV park minutes away from all the action Quebec has to offer. There is so much to see and do in this very historic city. Be sure not to miss visiting Old Quebec (feels like Europe), Lower and Upper town, Musee de la Civilisation, Place Royale to name just a few of the highlights. Also, the Cathedral-Basilica of Notre-Dame de Québec is breathtaking! We stumbled across some delicious restaurants along our travels- some of the best cuisine we've ever had in all of our adventures. The city is mainly French speaking, but it is bilingual (English and French), making it easy to converse with the locals. We found Quebec City to be very friendly and we felt so welcome by everyone.
Cedar Point, Sandusky Ohio
Who hasn't been here yet?! One of the top rated amusement parks! So much fun, terrific rides, great waterpark and a very nice RV park conveniently located next to Cedar Point. The RV park is now called Lighthouse Point and offers some terrific ammenities: hot tub, pool, beach access, and a shuttle to the park to name a few. We really enjoyed staying here for its proximity, but truly it was quite a nice park. Discount park tickets are also offered to those who stay on property.
